Located in the well-served village of Thurston, the New Green Centre provides the community with a place to meet friends , attend groups and sporting clubs, hold parties and gatherings as well as a place to hold annual or occasional events such as the annual Thurston Fun Run, Christmas Fayre and much more.

The large parkland area boosts a conservation area, a children's playground, a trim trail and a multi-use games area with basketball hoop and football goals including a large open space, for instance, for occasional fun fair and car boot sales.

There are park benches to rest your weary legs and feet, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, even enjoy a picnic on one of the benches.

The New Green Centre is also home to our Friday Playgroup sessions where we run 3 timed sessions. A great go to location for a play and to meet up with friends and family.

Thurst Coffee Shop is also on site and we have our own private coffee shop area, where you can order a hot drink, snack or food and sit back and watch whilst your children play.

This venue is the perfect location for a children party or event and we have provided hundreds of set ups here.
